2005: total homes sold 12,222
existing home sales: 7736
new construction: 4886
1/2006 - 11/2006: total homes sold:
9480
existing home sales: 6017
new construction: 3421
Keep in mind that new residential
construction within the cities of Boise, Eagle, Meridian, Star, and
Garden City will continue. Given the cities' new construction, plus
re-sales of existing homes, and the fact that in the biggest home
sale year ever we had only a total of 12,222 homes sold...how can the
number of homes to be build in planned communities be absorbed into
the local economy without causing an
extreme negative impact on the overall housing market?
